Pros and cons of Paper Bridge app for iPhone and iPad
Paper Bridge app good for
Been playing for awhile now Im stuck on book 2 page 3. I cant wait till the dirt bike jump level! Great music, amazing graphics. Must download!
Love this game. The physics are great and i love how challenging some of the levels are. Waiting for new levels to be released.
Persistence pays off. Book 3 L7 start with box on left ground level with x cross brace, continue 2 more boxes with x cross brace on top of road. Then build largest > you can under first road segment. Use box and X-brace formation across the span. Last 3 boxes have x-braces. Last section on right is drop triangle.
Great game! Love the mechanics and the visuals. The music and sound effects are well done which leads to a very pleasing time when not listening to your own music. All in all, the game has a lot of polish and it shows.
However, there are some things that could be improved:
1) How about having the placing of items be above the finger instead of under it? It makes it really hard to see where you are placing points.
2) Any chance you could make erasing of the lines something where one could tap on the line (or joint) they want removed? The block erase method doesnt work too well when you want to remove some diagonals near other lines.
3) The two-finger panning works oddly with the two-finger zoom. I find when I want to do one, it sometimes does the other as well.
4) I get a lot of "not enough ink" messages when laying the black road for the final bit. I dont think I am going over the limit but it says so... seems a little off here.
5) What is the deal with Book 2 - Page 3? Its near impossible. A guide would do wonders here as the trial and error for this board is way over the top; especially considering how early in the game it is.
Other than those items, this is a really fun game. I cannot wait to see what the next updates hold!
How do you get the train to go up the slope and no tip over on book 2 page 1?
Make this a I pad app I have several people wanting this for their I pad
Some bad moments
This would be a great game if it werent so glitchy. The big problem is that your finger covers the piece you are trying to create so that you cant see or control what you are trying to make. This could be fun if they finish developing it with an upgrade.
Stuck in book one page three, I try to draw my fourth bridge connection and all it says is "not enough ink" I still have plenty of ink left though. I gave up after my tenth try. One star until this hot mess is fixed.
I cant even get past book one level one. Theres nothing to connect to on the other side. Help!
But needs alot of work, controls are not very good, and you cant freely move the camera. Id pass if I had read the reviews. At least until the bother updating it.
This app is decent at best, most of the bridges you build are pretty much the same. The lack of variation is a big turn off, check other bridge apps before you spend your money on this one.
Ive searched the net for solutions just to find out they wont work for me. Game has random plays, you can run a level over and over and get very different results. But one result is a level will not work for me even when set the same on another phone which it will work for. Frustrating waste of time
